These photos are terrific. I have decided (just yesterday) to add ML knitting to my arsenal, and tonight now that I've finished the first sock, I intend to cast on the mate and do it the ML way. I was always afraid the sts at the loop would be stretched out and didn't want that to happen to my socks. Now I know how to avoid the ladders! Thanks so much!

I've been doing magic loop for only a week, and love it. I'm knitting socks with cascade fixation, and like the idea you have. I've been sitting here with my needles, but I still can't understand. Can you help? My email address is above. Thanks!

I like the ideal of twisting the cable on the needle. I had been concerned about using the one-needle mehtod for socks after watching some others do it (because of the stress you mention--it seemed like I sould get ladders). Now I want to try it this way.
