Is this thing on?!
It’s been ages since I’ve knit. The house still needs unpacking, my craft closet is a pile of boxes, and I’ve been traveling for work quite a bit. I peek in the closet and wonder if I still know how to move the needles.
I saw the new Charlie and the Chocolate Factory last night. All the scenes at Charlie’s house are filled with yarn crafts. I’d forget the storyline and focus on the techniques. I yearned. There’s a half-completed Clapotis near the front of my craft closet disaster. Maybe that will go with me on work travel later this week.

I’ve been meaning to go see that. Did you like it?
I did like it. I’m a big fan of the original, but I went in without any expectations. It’s a rather different take on the story, and it wasn’t really a musical (although the Oompa Loompas still sing songs — written by Danny Elfman!). But Johnny Depp was delightful and I’m pleased.
I know the feeling. Things have just been nutty. I know for me it’s the time of year. I can’t wait for fall and some normalcy. At least until the holidays…
I’m very glad you’re back. I was worried the movers carried you away in a box!
I’m way behind in knitting and blogging too, blaming it on the continued heat and draught.
Anyway, I’m happy to see you’re alive and kicking. That’s the most important thing for sure.

Just chill and knit when you feel like it.
We’ve been like moving for such a long time that hubby just asked earlier today,”would you please stop knitting so that we could move in?” LOL
