A Life of It’s Own

So, I’ve been flying under the radar a lot in the past few months. A lot of stuff going on at home that’s kept me from knitting, much less blogging about it. But I have been knitting again and I’m going to start talking about it again. In fact, I finished a pile of little striped hats for some friends recently and I just finished a Clapotis and Cap that are destined to be a gift for my sister-in-law.

Speaking of which, I poke at my site statistics from time to time and I’m amazed at how much traffic my Clapotis Cap pattern gets. I don’t know where you all come from. I know it’s linked to at a few free pattern sites and I know that some of you talk about it on your blogs and on mailing lists or other knitting forums. But it’s like the Energizer Bunny, it just keeps going and going. And I’m so flattered that you all love it so much. And even more so that you like it so much that some of you subscribe to my blog even though I haven’t posted in ages. I’ve seen examples of your caps here and there and they all look wonderful. I’m glad you’re enjoying it.

So, expect photos of my recent hats and new Clapotis set soon. And a little deviation to the cross-stitch ornaments I’m making this year. But I promise more knitting and posting for 2006. And a site redesign (I just installed WordPress, so freedom from Blogger!).
