Ouch! I have had weekends like that. They are not fun! I hope you are back on track and happy with Mermaid now.

  2. Anna:

*ack* Now I’m afraid to even swatch!!

  3. Suzanne:

Oh my gosh! Sorry about frogging. I’m glad you found the error and you’ve maintained a pretty positive outcome. Good luck with Mermaid…

  4. Alex:

Ow, that looks painful - except for the frosty beverage, which looks really good. Better luck with your next attempt!

  5. Em:

    HILARIOUS.

  6. Wendy:

    Oh, No!

    Oh Amy….

dammit, that sucks. I’ve had weekends like that and then put the whole project in the back of the closet and forgotten about it for months, too annoyed to work on it again anytime soon. Have another margarita!

[…] Also, about yesterday’s post. From Chris’ comment, I can tell she figured it out, but Mari put words to it. My gauge on Mermaid got tighter as I knit it. So the left front is shorter (and denser) than the right front. Given my above activities (and a lack of good will toward Mermaid at the moment), I haven’t looked closely to figure out how far back I need to rip it to make things right. At least back to the second armhole. Expect to see another post like this soon. […]

    Amy,
Are you the genius that developed the spreadsheet for mermaid? i want to start mine and would like to get a copy of that spreadsheet. I have been following you and others on the kal site for HF.
