What’s wrong with this picture?

It’s glorious otherwise:

Oh, and for those wondering, my LYS is Wild and Woolly in Lexington, MA. Aside from being staffed by friendly people that remember you, it’s also just about exactly halfway between my work and home on my preferred commute route. It’s a little too far out to be near a train, so it might be challenging for you to get to when you visit, Jocelyn. Ava, no it’s not online, but they do make good use of their e-mailing list. And Mari, didn’t realize you were local! Anyway, I’m sure there will be lots of Jaeger left, I didn’t even touch the bags of 4-Ply. And there was at least one bag of a Matchmaker purple that I left because it was a different dye lot. However, I didn’t see much Rowan and I know the reason they’re no longer going to carry the Jaegers they had on sale was that they are replacing them with Rowans.

DD and I will be in Concord for a week and a half visiting a friend of mine from HS and college while DS will be at a sports broadcasting camp in Boston. That’s pretty close, right
?
Oh, sh*t re: Mermaid!
Yep…over in cambridge near inman square.
I picked up a bunch of the Jaeger too, 3 different colors. Didn’t touch the rowan, didn’t like the remaining colors. might check the sale out again towards the end to see if there are any surprises waiting.
Did your tension tigthen knitting the second half of mermaid? I’m returning to Mermaid this weekend, have 1-1/2 sleeves to finish.
Amy, bummer on the gauge change. Before doing anything drastic like ripping it out, though, why not at least try blocking it out? Everyone talks about how much bigger they have been able to make their Mermaids by blocking - seems like it’s at least worth a try?
