Project Notes » Matinee Coat

I made this for my niece, Grace. The cashmerino yarn was super soft, and the color is fantastic. When I mailed it to my SIL, I told her that every girl needs a cashmere sweater, and that this was Grace’s first. Of course, I still don’t have my own.

I altered the decreases in the row that transitions from the skirt to the body. They were written as p3tog, but I didn’t like the slant that produced, so I swapped the first two stitches first so that the middle stitch ends up on top after the p3tog stitch.
